SeAH Wind announces appointment of new Chief Executive Officer
SeAH Wind today announced the appointment of Chung Ryu as its new Chief Executive Officer. Chung succeeds outgoing CEO Chris Sohn, who will be returning to South Korea to take up another senior position within SeAH Steel.
Mr. Ryu brings 32 years of experience in welding and manufacturing, with deep operational expertise across the SeAH Group. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at SeAH Steel’s Suncheon facility in South Korea, delivering jackets and monopiles for the offshore wind market. In this role, he played a key part in driving operational excellence and supporting business growth. In his new role, Mr. Ryu will lead SeAH Wind into its next phase of development, with a focus on growth, performance, and long-term value creation.
